The Massilly Group, of which Conservor is a part, is resolutely committed to a structured and ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach.

This commitment, at the heart of its values, is translated into concrete and measurable actions, in line with current environmental and social challenges.

For Massilly and its subsidiaries, CSR is an essential lever for performance and innovation, guiding every stage of its activities, from design to distribution

The choice to distribute recyclable packaging made in glass and metal: permanent materials, anti-waste solutions

Metal and glass, the preferred materials for Conservor's packaging, are permanent materials that can be recycled indefinitely without loss of their properties.

In France and Europe, glass and metal packaging show the best recycling rates: 77% for household metal packaging and 89% for glass packaging (CITEO figures - France). These figures attest to the effectiveness of existing recycling channels and consumers' understanding and adoption of the importance of sorting.

Furthermore, opting for metal and glass packaging is an effective solution against waste, particularly food waste. Their hermetic nature protects products from external contamination, humidity, and oxygen, thus significantly prolonging their shelf life.

In addition, their robustness minimizes the risk of losses during transport and storage, ensuring that the products arrive intact to the consumer.

Finally, the possibility of reusing some of this packaging or recycling it in a closed-loop material cycle promotes more sustainable consumption and reduces the amount of non-recycled waste generated.

Environmental Commitment: Towards Sustainable Production

Massilly implements a proactive environmental policy aimed at minimizing its impact on the planet. This involves:

  • Resource optimization: Reduction of energy and water consumption in manufacturing processes, use of recycled and recyclable materials for its packaging.
  • Waste management: Establishment of sorting and recovery channels for production waste, prioritizing recycling and reuse.
  • Emission reduction: Investments in cleaner technologies and optimization of transport to limit greenhouse gas emissions:
    • Conservor has notably equipped the buildings of its Castelsarrasin platform with approximately 1500 m² of photovoltaic panels with a self-consumption rate of 95% and a 43% reduction in electricity consumption.
  • A photovoltaic installation project of approximately 2000 m² on the St Marcel site will see the light of day in 2026
